"Seemed fine at first, but the extra fees stuck with me"
From what I remember, it worked alright in the beginning and I didn’t have any major issues using it. But later on, some unexpected fees popped up that I definitely didn’t see coming. That’s the part I keep thinking about, it kind of ruined the whole experience for me.

I asked for a refund because the device didn’t work when I needed it for my trip. Support did respond, but it was really slow, and they kept asking me for the same details over and over. I did eventually get my money back, but it felt like way more of a hassle than it should have been. If a product doesn’t work, I think the right thing to do is make the refund process simple and respectful of the customer’s time.

"Maybe I expected it to be more portable"
I thought this would be easier to carry around, but it feels a bit too bulky for everyday use. Maybe I misjudged the size when I bought it, but I don’t really see myself taking it with me all the time.

"Frustrating return and warranty experience"

"Keeps dropping the connection"
The internet cuts out constantly, and it gets frustrating really fast. I don’t think it’s right to sell a service or product that people rely on if it can’t stay connected properly. It’s been annoying to use.

"Frustrating if you need more than one device connected"
I bought this hoping my partner and I could both use Wi-Fi while traveling, but it was a headache. Every time one phone connected, the other one would get kicked off, and my laptop was even worse. I ended up restarting the thing over and over just to get a few minutes of use. Support wasn’t much help either, just the usual canned apologies and basic troubleshooting steps that didn’t fix anything. If you actually need multiple devices connected at the same time, I wouldn’t bother

"I thought I was getting a affordable plan..."
I thought I was getting a affordable plan, but once I got to checkout, extra fees suddenly appeared. It made the whole pricing feel confusing and not very upfront. I walked away feeling misled, and I don’t think I’ll be using it again.

"Coverage map was way off"
The coverage map said everything would work fine in my area, but the signal was barely usable in spots that was clearly marked as covered. When I contacted support, they just sent me right back to the same map, which didn’t help at all...

"Works great… when it actually works"
The device was totally fine on the first day, and I thought it was a solid buy. But after that it started freezing and dropping out on me constantly. I like it in theory, and when it’s working it does what I need, but it’s also been really frustrating to deal with

"Really bad first impression with support"
This was a rough first impression. I reached out to support hoping they’d actually help fix the issue, but all I got were the same copy-and-paste replies over and over. Nothing was resolved, and it just felt like they weren’t really reading what I was saying. Total waste of time.

"Data plans cost way too much"
I got a data plan for a short trip and it didn’t feel worth it. The GBs ran out quick, and buying more was too expensive compared to just getting a local SIM. It worked fine enough, but at these prices I probably wouldn’t use it again.

"Delivery was all over the place"
I ordered a device from glocalme.com because I needed it before a trip, and the whole delivery process was just a mess. The estimated date changed more than once, and the tracking barely updated, so I had no clue what was actually going on.

When I contacted support, I only got generic replies that didn’t really help. It felt like whoever runs this doesn’t have the delivery side under control, because nobody could give me a clear answer about where my package was.
It finally showed up late, but by then I’d already had to figure out another option. Maybe the product itself is fine, but I wouldn’t order again if I needed something to arrive on time.

"Too slow, and the emails made it more confusing"
The internet was just way too slow for me. Pages were taking forever to load, and my video calls kept freezing, which got really frustrating. I tried using it in a few different spots thinking maybe it was just the location, but it didn’t really improve. To make it more confusing, the email I got made it sound like everything should be working fine, but that definitely wasn’t my experience. Disappointed overall

"I had a frustrating time ordering..."
I had a frustrating time ordering from glocalme.com. The site was loading really slowly, and when I got to the payment step, my cart looked like it had changed, which threw me off. I had to refresh a couple of times, i wasn’t even sure at first if the order had actually gone through.
To be fair, the order did eventually get confirmed, but the email took a long time to arrive and the tracking details weren’t very clear. I reached out to support, but the replies were basic and didn’t really answer much. For something that should’ve been a simple online purchase, it felt way more stressful than it needed to be...

"Roaming was basically a disaster"
I used GlocalMe while traveling the roaming barely worked for me. The signal kept dropping like it had a personal vendetta against me, pages took forever to load, and at times I had no data at all. I contacted support and they basically just told me to restart it, which did absolutely nothing. Maybe I’m being dramatic, but it felt like the whole thing ruined half my trip. "Setup was such a pain"
I tried setting up my glocalme before a trip it was way more frustrating than I expected. The app kept making me log in again, the device took forever to connect, and the instructions didn’t really match what I was seeing on the screen. I tried changing my data plan when my travel dates shifted, and it was frustrating. The options felt really limited, and I couldn’t easily pause or switch to something that fit better. On top of that, having unused data just made it feel like I paid for something I couldn’t actually use. I’d expect some kind of credit or compensation in a situation like this, because it doesn’t feel fair to be stuck with a plan that doesn’t work when plans change.

The GlocalMe app has been frustrating for me. Sometimes logging in takes way too long, pages load slowly, and even finding the right data plan isn’t as straightforward as it should be. For an app that people probably use when they’re traveling and just need quick internet, the basics should be simple and easy to get to. I ended up tapping around more than necessary just to do normal things. It works, but the whole experience feels clunky...
